Fernando Santiago was the keynote speaker at UPC (Peruvian University of Applied Sciences and Technology) celebrating five years of certification from PMI for educational institutions. UPC has a Master’s Degree in Direction of Projects and was the first university in Latin America to obtain this certification.
Fernando spoke to an audience of over a hundred people, including faculty, students and alumni. His topic was “Managing projects as financial investments”, emphasizing the need to focus on project benefits and using financial indicators as a way to manage the increased complexity that we can expect as our portfolios include product projects and complex benefit structures as a result of digitalized transformation.
